SPRYLAB is delighted to announce that the British Red Cross Annual Review 2015 app has made the shortlist at this year’s Digital Impact Awards. Built using the SPRYLAB Purple DS® digital publishing platform, the iOS and Android app has been shortlisted in these prestigious awards which honour the best corporate digital work and receive hundreds of entries.
The British Red Cross Annual Review app has been nominated in the “Best use of digital to aid a CR campaign” category, which recognises organisations that best integrate a digital strategy into a CSR, partnership, charity or sponsorship programme.
As part of its objective to reach a wider base of potential volunteers and donors and engage with a new audience of smartphone and tablet users, this was the first time that British Red Cross had published a digital annual review. Its in-house teams were responsible for the creative concept and execution and they built the app using SPRYLAB Purple DS®, without the need for any coding or technical knowledge.
This unique app combines powerful mobile app technology, interactivity and video to transform a corporate annual review document into a multi-layered, emotional narrative, creating a memorable reader experience.
The Digital Impact Awards 2016 take place at the Brewery in central London on 18 October when the results will be announced at a gala dinner for professionals working in the corporate digital communications sector.
