The Purple product team presents the latest features to our customers in a quarterly webinar and gives an outlook on upcoming developments. With these enhancements, we not only create additional added value, but also provide powerful tools that make your workflows more efficient and improve the user-friendliness of our product. In this first version of the Quarterly Feature Review, the focus is on four new functions.

Purple Wires 2.0: Improved management of agency reports

With Purple Wires, you can retrieve agency releases from various services directly in the CMS, thus avoiding the need to switch between different tools. In addition, Purple Wires allows you to convert press releases into an article in the editor with a single click in order to create your own content. With the new, revised Purple Wires 2.0, we are offering our customers fundamental improvements: an optimized user interface with a modern design and new functions.  

Purple Wires 2.0 makes it easier for editors to preview, access and organize imported content. With new functions such as article previews, text previews in list view and word and character counting, you can work more efficiently, quicker and more effectively with the latest news from the press services relevant to your editorial team.

Purple Variants: All variants of your content in one tool  

Another new feature in the Purple Hub, Purple Variants, makes it easier to manage multiple article variants across different platforms. Separate variants can be easily created, edited and published for channels such as print or online - whether through interactive elements for online readers or special layouts for print.  

The flexibility of Purple Variants allows editors to design content specifically for different channels, insert multimedia elements into online articles and adapt images for print without having to use complicated tools. Purple Variants creates a consistent, efficient workflow for creating customized content for different formats without having to constantly switch between different tools.

Purple Single Sign-On: Seamless, secure access to Purple  

Purple Single Sign-On (Purple SSO) enables our customers to seamlessly authenticate and log in with access data that they also use within their company. This eliminates the need to manage additional login data for Purple, which significantly reduces complexity.  

Managing multiple usernames and passwords can be tedious and pose security risks. Purple SSO simplifies and standardizes the login process by allowing users to log in to the platform with their familiar company credentials.  

With Purple SSO as a centralized authentication method, we increase security for your company by giving you full control over login policies while reducing the risk of "password fatigue". Thanks to the integration with Microsoft Entra ID, user onboarding and offboarding is simplified as access can be managed directly through your existing identity management tools.
