The new digital publishing initiative from NewsLifeMedia, part of News Corp Australia, specifically targets premium consumer magazines, with well-known titles such as Vogue Australia, Vogue Living, GQ Australia and delicious. As part of this initiative, NewsLifeMedia has chosen Purple to publish its digital magazines.

Native apps for tablet and smartphone

NewsLifeMedia chose the Purple e-publishing platform because of its many innovative functionalities and the ability to efficiently produce native apps for tablets and smartphones for iOS and Android - without any programming knowledge. This approach allows both small and large editorial teams to create aesthetically pleasing content with a minimum of effort and cost.

Optimal workflows for efficient publishing

Purple DS offers optimal workflows for all production approaches, from pixel-perfect to fully automated publishing, and thus helps to further optimize work processes in the long term. By using the unique Purple DS Templating Client, NewsLifeMedia can create highly efficient mobile-optimized, interactive content from the existing layouts of print magazines such as Vogue Australia, Vogue Living and GQ Australia and make it available for phone and tablet.

All apps will be available for iOS and Android on phone and tablet. This also applies to the well over 600 old issues that were migrated from the previous platform.
