Join the team that gives newsrooms back time for real journalism

We believe journalism is one of the most important tasks of our time
Newsrooms report on elections, uncover scandals, hold the powerful to account. But they often do it with tools that get in their way more than they help. Imagine entering the same article manually into two systems, one for online and one for print. Or spending ten minutes searching for the right photo because your asset management manages more than it finds. You want to use AI for headlines, but there is no consistent prompt library. That is the reality in many publishing houses today. Editors spend more time with systems than with research. We build Purple so that this stops. So that publishers can focus on what they do best: journalism.

How we grow together
We are a team that knows publishing from practice. Many of us come straight from the media and technology industries. We are not looking for “rockstars” but for people who understand problems precisely, take responsibility and see things through.

Who we are
We build Purple as a modular platform for editorial, experience and AI. Our benchmark is Media Time and reduced “uncreative time”, not buzzwords.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for people who understand problems precisely, keep solutions simple and think alongside our excellent customers. Quality before perfection. If you are reading this and feel unsure: write to us anyway.

How we work
Clear focus, short paths, honest feedback. We deliver iteratively, measure impact and improve consistently.
What guides us and is non-negotiable for us
One team, one mission
We always act in the best interest of our customers and of Purple. We behave the way we would want a teammate to behave.
Getting better every day
We are hungry to solve difficult problems, to succeed in demanding roles and to work with people who push us to do so.
Ownership mentality
We set ourselves clear goals and stay focused on them until we succeed. We take the initiative, even beyond our direct area of responsibility.
Friendliness and respect

We are a place where people build their careers
(and we are pretty proud of that!)
